Police are warning residents to be vigilant following a report of a rogue trader in your area. Often, rogue traders will knock on residents doors to either try to promote sales or inform residents that work is needed on their property. Police advise residents to conduct thorough research into company's before using them for work on your property and to get a quote written up. Rogue traders will often target the elderly and vulnerable by going door to door to sell products or services. If you feel threatened or under pressure, close the door and do not engage with them.
